Established over 45 years ago, A Woman's Place (AWP) provides free and confidential services to survivors of domestic violence. As the only domestic violence safehouse in Weld County, AWP is a critical lifeline for our community. Our eight-bedroom facility provides shelter and crisis support while empowering survivors to rebuild their lives.
AWP provides a 24-hour crisis phone line and emergency shelter programs including: safety planning, case management, legal advocacy, employment support, housing advocacy, behavioral health support, youth services, counseling, and emergency financial assistance for survivors.
