Founded by three non-profit sanctuaries in Northern California, LEAP (Leaders for Ethics, Animals, and the Planet) is the first-of-its-kind humane education program to reach young people as a compassionate alternative to traditional agricultural and leadership programs.

Providing in-depth monthly curriculum, high-impact leadership training, hands-on workshops and service opportunities at sanctuaries across the country, LEAP is preparing the next generation of leaders to transform our food systems, advocate for animal welfare and human rights, tackle the challenges of food deserts and diet-related diseases, and lead the way in climate solutions, sustainability, and wildlife conservation.

LEAP empowers young people to engage with nature, non-humans, and each other, to learn principles of anti-speciesism, conservation, habitat and biodiversity protection, and healthy plant-based lifestyles. With humanity at a major crossroads in regard to how we treat each other, animals, and our planet, there really is no better time for the new genaraiton to leap forward into a more compassionate and forward-thinking society.
