UCP of Sacramento and Northern California is the leading provider of comprehensive services to children and adults with all developmental disabilities and their families. UCP works with over 3,000 people a month in our eight-county area, empowering children and adults who-without support-would be isolated from community.

Each month, we serve children, adults and families living with more than 20 developmental disabilities in our eight-county area, which includes El Dorado, Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, Shasta, Sutter, Butte, and Yolo counties. Our programs include adult day programs, independent living services, in-home respite care for families, summer camps for children, adults, and families, a new recreation program, and transportation.

UCP serves children and adults with more than 20 types of developmental disability, including autism (56.4%), intellectual disability (11.8%), Down syndrome and others (15.3%) cerebral palsy (10.6%) and epilepsy (5.9%). The money raised in our service area stays in our community. In fact, 90 cents of every dollar is reinvested back into programs and services for children, adults and their families.
