La Familia Counseling Center, Inc.

For over 50 years, La Familia Counseling Center, Inc. has been a vital part of the Sacramento community, dedicated to meeting it’s involving needs. We pride ourselves on fostering trust by delivering valuable services in a compassionate and professional manner. Each year, we engage with over 10,000 community members, through our various programs and events, including our Family Resource Center, our Youth Voice program, our Health and Mental Health Wellness services, our Career Center, our Older Adult Programs and our signature events such as our Halloween celebration, Posada, Christmas “Adopt a Child” and our Summer Youth program. 

            La Familia meets the community where they are and is committed to offering programs and services that go beyond grant funding, such as our free summer lunch program with activities, Karate Classes, After School Programs, Kids Club, Girl Scout Group, Club Excel, and other special services for children and families.

           The funds from the Big Day of Giving help support our unfunded Summer Lunch Program.   Thanks to your support, in 2024 we were able to serve nearly 200 children, providing nutritious meals and enriching activities, to ensure they have a summer filled with learning and fun.
