Capital Campaign - Longmont Museum Expansion

It is with great enthusiasm that the Longmont Museum officially announces our capital campaign!

After careful evaluation of our mission and strategic plan, conversations with the community, and steady growth of our many exhibits and programs, it is clear that the Longmont Museum is ready to expand our building! This fall, we are launching a campaign to raise $8.1 million dollars toward a comprehensive construction project aimed at enhancing every aspect of our operations.

PROJECTS GOALS

1. Children’s Gallery: Creating a dedicated exhibit space where children can play, learn and explore year-round.

2. Flex Gallery Expansion: Doubling the size of our flex gallery to provide more room for artists, accommodate multiple exhibits simultaneously and feature more robust touring exhibitions.

3. Courtyard Renovation: Expanding and enhancing the usable area in one of our most popular public spaces, including the construction of a new stage.

4. Mission Support: Increasing office and support spaces to align with our strategic plan of increased staffing, enabling us to offer more diverse programming and fulfill our mission.
