A MESSAGE FROM JAMES BECKWITH:

Once again, I am raising funds for Cristo Rey High School (CRHS) as part of the L5 Investments Capital Cup golf tournament. The tournament includes Sacramento business leaders who are raising funds for local charities and non-profits.

I chose to participate in the tournament to raise funds and awareness for CRHS and to further their mission to create an effective and highly regarded high school that transforms under-served students into faith-filled, educated, professional and service-oriented people. If my team wins, CRHS will receive a share of the $100,000 grand prize!

HOW TO MAKE A DONATION:

ONLINE DONATIONS:  Donations can be made online in this portal by clicking the red DONATE button.

CHECKS: Donations can also be made by check. Checks can be made payable directly to the charity and by completing this online form: https://forms.gle/NzGopkbKsYF7oWSWA which ensures your donation is tracked. The form requires a picture of the check or a pdf that you would upload. Please contact Shelley Wetton (SVP, Chief Marketing Officer at Five Star Bank)  at 916-284-7827 should you need assistance.

Thank you for your support and generosity!

Best, James

THE CAPITAL CUP:

The Capital Cup adapts the historic Ryder Cup format—steeped in tradition—to promote community pride, healthy competition, and raise money for the Sacramento region’s most deserving charities. Each year, leaders from the Sacramento region are divided into two teams for an exciting 3-day golf competition. Donors have the opportunity to support their favorite player (or their favorite charity), as each player is competing to benefit his or her favorite charitable organization. The winning team's designated charities share a prize fund of $100,000! The tournament started with the ambitious goal of raising $250,000 in its first year. When it well surpassed that goal, the tournament committee raised the bar, and has continued to do so every year since—and every year, the participating golfers exceed expectations. The Capital Cup has raised more than $15 million over its history.
