My name is Jennifer Edwards, and throughout my career, I've provided strategic guidance to numerous entrepreneurs, C-suite executives, venture capitalists, and leaders of non-profit organizations. My awareness of food insecurity began at a young age, sparked by my father's involvement in establishing the Auburn Interfaith Food Closet. As fate has it, I began working with Carrie Johnson , the Execuitve Director at the Rancho Cordova Food Locker (now the Community Food Hub) two years ago. The Community Food Hub’s direction is clear: to lead with intentionality, warmth, and innovation in addressing food insecurity. By providing healthy food and wrap-around services, they empower individuals towards sustainable independence. With a dignified model of choice and hospitality, they’re not just serving meals and groceries, they are nurturing communities. The Community Food Hub’s focus is on healthy, full-service solutions, ensuring every person has access to nourishment and support. Because they are redefining the approach to tackling hunger, one meal at a time, I’m excited to fundraise on their behalf!
