Faith Alive Nigeria is a remarkable nonprofit organization that plays a vital role in transforming the lives of the poor, vulnerable, and sick in Jos, Nigeria.
Founded by Dr. Chris Isichei in 1996, Faith Alive Hospital began with a leap of faith and just $333. It has since grown into a three-story hospital, serving tens of thousands of patients annually. The hospital provides a wide range of free medical services, including HIV testing and surgical oncology. In 2021 alone, your donations helped provide 36,557 free patient visits and 507 free surgeries. Faith Alive doesn’t stop at medical services; it focuses on meeting the holistic needs of each person through counseling, skills acquisition programs, and educational services. Their commitment is rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ, who emphasized caring for the poor and vulnerable.
